Abstract: Qiaozigou basin observation station was set up for runoff and sediment observation by Tianshui Water and Soil Conservation Scientific Experimental Station of the Yellow River Conservancy Commission (hereinafter referred to as "Tianshui Station"). It began to work in 1957 and ended in 1959. In 1985, it was listed as a typical small watershed of comparative experiment by YRCC and incorporated in Luoyugou watershed rainfall observation network. In 1987, a network of stations was established. There are two sub-basins in Qiaozigou basin observation. Each of them One was set up a runoff observation station and shared one rainfall observation stations. In addition to this, there is one rainfall station at each outlet, three mass-commissioned stations and one experimental station in two small watersheds. This data set includes data between 1987 to 2018, which are calculated by professionals through the observation of water level, velocity and sediment content in the flow measurement section, including discharge, sediment transport, total flood volume, sediment transport, runoff coefficient, soil erosion per unit area, daily average discharge, daily average sediment concentration and daily average suspended sediment transport rate. After collation, calibration, re-calibration and verification, runoff is formed. This data set provides scientific, reliable and long-term continuous observation data for the study of Soil Erosion Regularity in the third sub-region of Loess Hilly and gully region and the benefit of water storage and sediment interception after different degrees of treatment.
