Abstract: Dry deposition is an important component of atmospheric nitrogen (N) deposition, which has considerable effects on construction and functions of ecosystems. Because of the complexity of dry deposition and the difficulty of observation technologies, there were few monitoring stations in short-term for dry deposition observation in China. Therefore, how to get a spatial pattern dataset with high resolution and long-term for dry deposition is key to evaluate their ecological effects on ecosystems to China. Based on the ground monitoring data of dry deposition and remote sensing data of NO2 and NH3, we constructed remote sensing statistical models for different species of dry deposition, then the spatial dataset of dry deposition during 2006–2010 and 2011–2015 in China was generated. The dataset includes particulate NH4+ , NO3- , gaseous NO2, HNO3, NH3, and total dry N deposition, with spatial resolution of 10 km×10 km in tiff format. This dataset is the first open dry N deposition based on ground monitoring data in China, which can provide basic data for assessing their ecological and environmental effects and support the policy-making for N management.
