National Science and Technology Infrastructure Center
YE Yujiang holds a doctoral degree and is Director of the National Science and Technology Infrastructure Center. Prof. YE once worked at the Planning Bureau of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Department of Basic Research and the Department of Innovation and Development at the Ministry of Science and Technology, where he served as Deputy Director-General of the above two departments.
He has been long engaged in administrative work related to the government’s S&T policies, S&T planning, and S&T programs. Prof. YE has chaired strategic researches and framework designs for the National Basic Research Program of China, in which he is dedicated to promoting the development and reform of State Key Laboratories, establishing stable support mechanisms, and carrying forward the construction of the field observation station network. In addition, Prof. YE takes charge of formulating the National Twelfth Five-Year S&T Development Plan, advancing the reform and management of national S&T programs, promoting the construction of national S&T management information system, establishing national innovation survey system, as well as pushing forward the implementation of national S&T report system. In recent years, he has been committed to promoting the professional management of S&T resources, leading the construction and operation of National Science and Technology Infrastructure Platforms.
