ZENG Dajun (Daniel ZENG) is Professor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Deputy Director & PhD Supervisor at The State Key Laboratory of Management and Control for Complex Systems. He is a Fellow of IEEE. He currently serves as President of the IEEE ITS Society (2016-2017) and editor-in-chief of IEEE Intelligent Systems (2013-2016). Besides, he is on the editorial board of seven major international journals.Prof. ZENG’s research interests mainly center around algorithms based on multi-agents, and the analysis, optimization and control of complex economical and social systems. He has published 19 monographs and more than 300 peer-reviewed articles, with an SCI total citation record of over 1,600 and a Google Scholar citation record of over 7,500. Prof. ZENG has won several best paper awards at international conferences and received funds from the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. He was elected by the CAS “100 Talent Program” in which he was rated as Excellence, and by the Ministry of Science and Technology’s “Young and Mid-career S&T Innovation Leading Talents Program”. Prof’s ZENG’s supervision has assisted his PhD students in winning the ICIS best PhD thesis which is most authoritative in international information systems.
