Professor, PhD Supervisor
WEN Hao is Research professor at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. WEN focus his researches on the fields of chemical databases, molecular and chemical process design and simulation. He chaired the CAS project to integrate sharable chemical data resources, established Chemistry-themed Database system that provides full-time integrated data services, as well as developed computer simulation models for block copolymer micelle based on the scaling theory, for anti-knocking prediction of gasoline based on the oxidation mechanism, and the dissipative particle dynamics model with spatial constraints used for heavy oil. In addition, Prof. WEN conducted researches on lubricant dispersant molecular design, the co-gasification of natural gas & coal into synthesis gas, the cracking of heavy hydrocarbons into light olefins, gas hydrate molecular simulation, and the applications of heavy oil aggregate structures.
Prof. WEN published more than 160 research articles and three monographs. He is the winner of the National Award of Natural Sciences, the National Award of Science and Technology Progress, the CAS Award of Science and Technology Progress, the Beijing Award of Science and Technology Progress, and the Chinese Universities Award of Science and Technology Progress.
