Professor, PhD Supervisor
YIN Haiqing is Professor and PhD Supervisor of the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing. She is a board member of Asia Materials Data Committee (AMDC) and Contact person of AMDC in China. She sits on the editorial board of Powder Metallurgy Industry, and is a member of Beijing Female Teachers Fraternity Association. Prof. YIN was once a visiting researcher at Osaka University, and a guest professor in CISP of Mechanical Engineering Department at Pennsylvania State University, the most influential university in the field of powder metallurgy. Prof. YIN’s research interests include: micro powder injection molding; substitutes of W in WC-Co cemented carbides; mechanism & application of color ceramics; simulation and application of the entire powder metallurgy process; construction and application of materials data, database and their platforms; and high velocity compaction. She has chaired or participated in over 10 projects concerning 973 Program, National S&T Infrastructure Platform, 863 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Program, Livelihood Supporting Program, and Kennametal-USTB collaboration projects. Prof. YIN has published over 40 articles, among which more than 20 appeared in SCI-cited publications and over 30 in EI-cited publications. She is the beneficiary of the first and second prizes at provincial- and ministry-level scientific and technological awards, and was elected by the Emerging S&T Talents Program of Beijing Municipality.
