Professor, PhD Supervisor and Director Assistant
ZOU Ziming is Professor, PhD Supervisor and Director Assistant at the National Space Science Center, CAS. He also serves as Director of the Laboratory of Data Network Technology, Vice Chief Designer of the Ground Support System for the Scientific Satellite Project of Space Science Pilot Program, Director of the China Space Science Center at World Data System (WDS), and Member of the Special Committee of Chinese Geophysical Society.
Prof. ZOU’s work mainly concentrates on space science informatics, space environment information system, and space environment forecast. His research areas include space science data processing, astrospace information organizing, retrieval and interoperation, astrospace information expression and visual analytics, and solar-terrestrial space information system integration. He chaired a dozen of projects under Space Science Pillar Program, Manned Space Project, 973 Program, 863 Plan, National Science and Technology Infrastructure, Meridian Project, and CAS e-Science Project, and published over 30 articles. Prof. ZOU received two first prizes for Military S&T Progress, and was awarded as “CAS Staff of Excellence for Manned Space Project Participation”.
