Chief Expert, PhD Supervisor, Postdoctoral Co-mentor and Director at the Biodiversity Research Cente
LI Junsheng is Chief Expert, PhD Supervisor, Postdoctoral Co-mentor and Director at the Biodiversity Research Center, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, and an Adjunct Professor for the ethnoecology 985 platform of Beijing Normal University, China Renmin University and Minzu University of China. He also serves as a Review Committee member of National Natural Reserve and as a contract technical specialist for Convention on Biological Diversity – an initiative launched by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of P.R. China. Prof. LI is mainly engaged in biodiversity protection, natural reserve administration, biological safety assessment, and climate change impact assessment. In recent years, he has chaired over 40 projects which include one national 11th Five-Year S&T Support Key Project, one project of the 11th Five-Year S&T Pillar Program, four general projects of National Natural Science Foundation, two key projects of National Major S&T Special Program, three environmental protection projects, and other research projects initiated and/or sponsored by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Chinese Academy of Sciences, international cooperation or local governments. Prof. LI has published 12 monographs and over 180 scholarly articles, among which over 50 are SCI-cited.
