YIN Ling holds a doctoral degree, and is Professor, PhD Supervisor and Deputy Director of the E-learning Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital. Prof. YIN also serves as Executive Deputy Director of National Scientific Data Sharing Platform for Population and Health, Director of China Stroke Scientific Data Center, Technical Director of the Remote Medical Policy Pilot Projects of both National Development and Reform Commission and National Health and Family Planning Commission, and Deputy Chief of the Clinical Branch of the “Health China” 2020 Strategic Plan Concerning Technological Supports and Frontier Fields.In 2002, Prof. YIN established the Scientific Data Sharing Platform for Medicine and Health, which stepped into permanent operation in 2010 after eight years’ construction and was renamed National Scientific Data Sharing Platform for Population and Health. In 2010, he set up China Stroke Scientific Data Center, and completed data screening, collection, storage and other service-preparatory work based on four million high-risk patients with strokes from 31 provinces, for which Prof. YIN was awarded Expert of Excellence in stroke screening and prevention by the National Health and Family Planning Commission. In 2005 he built up a network for grade A rural tertiary hospitals, providing professional medical resources for county hospitals (for over 10 years now) as well as technologies for rural doctors’ diagnosing and treating common and chronic diseases. In 2015, Prof. YIN completed his book, Research on the Integration and Application for Core Medical and Health Technologies, which is based on empirical research and application demonstrations conducted in 32 provinces in China.
