Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: The evergreen broad-leaved forest is the most stable top succession community in the subtropical area. Based on a long-time litter observation on the comprehensive observation field by Huitong National Forest Ecosystem Research Station, Hunan (Huitong Station). The dataset integrated monthly litter recovery amount and monthly litter standing crop of the middle subtropical broad-leaved evergreen forests in Huitong Station in the period of 2005–2015, which both comprised branch, leaf, flower and fruit, bark, moss and lichen and other things specifically. The setup and data sharing of the dataset would offer data supports for litter dynamic study of this forest type in the background of global climate change as well as further understand the structure and function of the evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem in the middle subtropical region. Additionally, it could also promote the long-term ecological research of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in the middle subtropical region.
