Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: The Yangtze estuary is an important economic and marine science research hotspot along the Maritime Silk Road. The East China Sea Ocean Observation and Research Station developed the three-anchor buoy integrated observation platform with a diameter of 15 meters. It carries out real-time observation of the sea meteorology, shallow data and underwater profile data of the Yangtze estuary and Zhoushan islands (30°27'32.6"N, 120°14'25.22"E). And the data of 14 consecutive months has been collected. The dataset collated the profile data. In order to further use these data, we process them with standard data processing methods and quality control system. This provides a key link in building a full scale observation system covering the ocean atmosphere, ocean surface, water profile and seabed. Also, this will provide more abundant and complete data support for basic research of Marine science and disaster prevention and reduction in China.

Dataset compositionThe dataset contains two parts, one is the tabular original data, the other is the time-scale data graph. The tabular dataset is named as “A dataset of three-anchor buoy integrated observation platform in 2018–2019 on the Yangtze estuary of the maritime silk road.xlsx”, with a data volume of 41,037 entries, these data include depth, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, chlorophyll, turbidity. The image data recorded as “A dataset of three-anchor buoy integrated observation platform in 2018–2019 on the Yangtze estuary of the maritime silk road.zip”, made up of 16 time series graphs of different water depth positions, These graphs format is FIG vector graph, with a data volume of 2.88 MB.
